At a height of 67ft, Buyers Products’ 300,000sf warehouse expansion is one of the tallest single-story warehouses in Cleveland.  Many challenges had to be overcome to bring this project to life, including: stabilizing unsuitable soils, pouring a sophisticated “superflat” floor at a tolerance less than a credit card thickness, sourcing the massive columns (there is only one company in the US with the ability to manufacture such large columns, plus they had to be railed in), upgrading utilities with no impact on existing operations and designing a unique yet functional metal and precast wall system. Building a big box is not as simple as it looks!
